Born in Nogent-sur-Marne in 1963, Olivier Schwartz is a self-taught cartoonist influenced by the “neo-ligne claire” style and the work of Yves Chaland. After getting his start in the fanzine Plein la gueule pour pas un rond, he made a name for himself in youth publications and, in 1988, created the adventures of *L’Inspecteur Bayard* for Astrapi.
